Gambit failed in locating Exceed installation on your system


When attempting to start Gambit you get the following message in the Gambit launcher Window:

"Gambit failed in locating Exceed installation on your system"



Open up a Command Prompt

Type: Set (Typing set will display the Path variables defined on your system.)

Look for a path in the output to Hummingbird for example, you should see a path to C:Program FilesHummingbirdConnectivityxxAccessories somewhere in the string.
Where xx is the version number of Exceed.

If you don't have the Hummingbird path defined it means that you installed Exceed as a User and Not Administrator.

Go to Control Panel, Add/Remove Software and remove Hummingbird Exceed.
Logon as Administrator and reinstall Exceed using the instructions found in the following links:
