Gambit failed in locating Exceed installation on your system
When attempting to start Gambit you get the following message in the Gambit launcher Window: "Gambit failed in locating Exceed installation on your system" Open up a Command Prompt Type: Set (Typing set will display the Path variables defined on your system.) Look for a path in the output to Hummingbird for example, you should see a path to C:Program FilesHummingbirdConnectivityxxAccessories somewhere in the string. Where xx is the version number of Exceed. If you don't have the Hummingbird path defined it means that you installed Exceed as a User and Not Administrator. Go to Control Panel, Add/Remove Software and remove Hummingbird Exceed. Logon as Administrator and reinstall Exceed using the instructions found in the following links: Exceed 10: http://www.fluent.com/support/installation/licensing/installexceed10.htmhttp://www.fluent.com/support/installation/licensing/installexceed10.htm Exceed 11: http://www.fluent.com/support/installation/licensing/installexceed11.htmhttp://www.fluent.com/support/installation/licensing/installexceed11.htm Additional FAQ's can be found at the link below: http://www.fluentusers.com/support/installation/winfaq/index.htmhttp://www.fluentusers.com/support/installation/winfaq/index.htm |
