POLYMAN - on Windows32/64: "ERROR: can not open file" when converting a GAMBIT neutral file via the toolbar POLYMAN (convert a gambit neutral file)
A neutral file is created with GAMBIT under the POLYMAN environment. When asking its conversion into POLYFLOW format via the toolbar, a non-graphic version of POLYDATA is opened, and which waits for answers. When asking for a mesh conversion, the program eventually fails with the error message "can not open file. Do you want to try again?". What can be done ? The trouble appears on Windows32 and Windows64...
This results from a communication trouble between POLYDATA and a command file. In order to circumvent this, there are two options: - the conversion can be asked by running POLYDATA outside the POLYMAN environment, or - a patch is available (possibly contact your support engineer if needed). |
