I am using PLANE55 for a thermal analysis and applying radiation by the radiosity method. There are convections elsewhere in the model. Is there a way to determine the heat lost from the radiation surfaces? The Element output table has HEAT RATE, but that is only for convection.

At ANSYS 8.1 you will be able to use *get to obtain the heat going to the space node: *GET,aaa,RAD,1,NETHF (replaced SPHF by NETHF) This *GET (using SPHF) hasn't been working correctly to date (ANSYS 8.0). |
