I have two completely independent, but coincident beams. Why are their
displacements being averaged.

This occurs when 3d beam shapes are requested with PowerGraphics [/ESHAPE,1.] A workaround is to switch to Full graphics [/GRAPH,FULL], but a 3d image cannot be displayed.
