Parts fly apart in Workbench 8.0 with anything other then bonded contact. How do you fix this?

Check the contact status specifications in the solve.out file. If any contact pairs are in initially open status and loads are force based, this is a likely cause of rigid body motion. If using 8.1, activate "adjust to touch" option in the contact pair details window to close the gap with a small adjustment. In 8.0, you will have to add a preprocessor command builder with the following commands to get the same effect. Also, verify that the pairs which have been generated by auto detect are adequate for the loading applied. For complicated surface contours, user defined pairs might be needed to enhance convergence.

KEYOPT,X,5,1 Where X is the real constant pair number as retrieved from the solve.out file.
