Inventor 2009 Plugin Does not Work on Windows 64-bit

Procedure for Configuring the Plugin for Inventor 2009 Resolutions: 1.Verify that WorkBench 11.0 SP1 is installed. 2.Verify that the 64-bit version of Inventor 2009 is installed. 3.Download and install Special Version 26 from the Customer Portal. This is needed in order for the connection for Inventor 2009 to work. 4.You may also need to register the plugin, as follows: -- Browse to the C:Program FilesANSYS Incv110aisolcad integrationinventorwinx64 directory and double click on DSPlugInAIU.dll. If it prompts you as to what application to open with browse to c:windowssystem32regsvr32. You should get a message that it was successfully registered. 5.Start Inventor and you should then see ANSYS 11.0 in the menu. |
