Is it possible to do a thermal transient in the frequency domain?

No, but it is possible to do a harmonic thermal analysis of transient loadings that are sinusoidal and steady state in nature. There isn't a capability in ANSYS to do a thermal eigenvalue analysis and as a result there is no thermal mode-sup transient or PSD analysis capability. |
