KNOWN ISSUE: Face ordering may change if Definition files are written from imported Results files

SYMPTOM: Solver Input and Results files imported into CFX-Pre may not maintain mesh face set ordering when rewritten as a new Solver Input file. If results from the original file are interpolated onto the new Solver Input File, the CFX-Interpolator may prevent mesh face set related data being written and this may result in longer restarts when the new Solver Input File is run in the CFX-Solver. PROBLEM: This behaviour is caused by the fact that element face ids are not read during the import process in CFX-Pre, but instead indexed with an id determined by the reading order. WORKAROUND: No workaround is currently available. FIXED IN: No fix is currently available. |
