Q. When importing a Pro/Engineer part/assembly into Simulation 8.1, local coordinate systems defined in Pro/E are re-oriented to the global system in Simulation.
How can this be prevented from happening?
A. This was a code defect (report# 25144) at 8.1 that has been fixed for 9.0, due out 4th quarter of 2004.
There is no known workaround.
