In ICEM tetra what does the Laplace smoother do?

The Laplace smoother is a mesh smoother that only operates on surface meshes. It generally gives a more uniformly spaced mesh and, as such, can help to eliminate some of the Octree-ness of the mesh. However, it can also lead to lower quality prisms so a subsequent run of the normal mesher may be necessary.

The general advice for running the Laplace smoother is:
Set the 'Up to quality' to 1.0 when running Laplace.
After running a few iterations of Laplace, re-run a few iterations of the normal smoother using a lower value for the 'Up to quality' such as 0.2.
