I receive the following error whenever I try clicking any sub-menu under 'Help' from the ANSYS CFX 10.0 Launcher or any of the ANSYS CFX 10.0 products (CFX-Pre, CFX Solver or CFX-Post):

First confirm that you installed the Sun JAVA 2 Runtime Environment as well as the ANSYS CFX 10.0 software from the installation CD. This is needed for the ANSYS CFX 10.0 Help If you did not install this because you already have a later version of Sun JAVA 2 Runtime Environment installed on your machine, and therefore did not think this was needed, then run regedit and check if the following registry keys are set: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREJavaSoftJava Runtime EnvironmentCurrent Version=1.5 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREJavaSoftJava Runtime Environment1.5JavaHome=C:Program FilesJavajre1.5.0_02 Note that in the settings above it is assumed that the version you already have installed is version 1.5.0_02. You should alter this appropriately is your version is a different one than this. |
