Why does pasting the following commands into the input window
at ANSYS 9.0 on the PC cause the graphics toolbar to be grayed out?
/clear
/prep7
et,1,42
rect,0,1,0,1
ames,all
fini
After this, the graphics toolbar is grayed out and we could not reactivate it.
If you add a blank line after the /clear the graphics toolbar is active again!

As you noticed this error is caused by the /clear command. It only happens on the PC. The toolbar is driven by abbreviations in the start.ans file and with this input the GUI is being restarted before start.ans is read. This error is fixed in ANSYS 10.0 [Ref: Defect 30563] |
