In Simulation Release 10.0, you can you simulate a stress cycle that varies from preload minus one-half bending to preload plus one-half bending by creating two environments.
Environment 1 = preload + 1/2 bending
Environment 2 = preload - 1/2 bending
You then need to specify the coefficients for each case to be one in the solution combination folder.
Mean Stress = .5*(E1 + E2) = .5*(preload - 1/2B + preload + 1/2B) = Preload Stress
Alternating Stress = .5*(E1 - E2) = .5*(preload + 1/2B - preload + 1/2B) = Bending Stress
