Can I bring named entities from CATIA into ICEM, via the HexaCAA V5 interface?

When bringing the part into ICEM, a default naming convention will be used by default. However if you use Tools->Publication in CATIA it is possible to publish the names of entities like surfaces, lines and points. You can specify your own name for these entities or use the CATIA defaults. Now go to start ->ICEMCFD Analysis. Select the part to mesh (as usual) and launch Hexa. The published names can be seen by using show names of point, curves and surfaces, respectively. |
