how can we assign a pressure inside an internal flow problem?

The inlet velocity boundary condition of an internal flow problem is imposed using a CSV file obtained from a former (upstream) calculation. The use is also interested in having a continuous pressure profile from the previous simulation and the current simulation. How can this be done?
1. By assigning the normal velocities at the nlet and the outlet, the option for assigning the pressure level will become available, and can be used for fixing the pressure. Care has to be taken for the overall conservation of mass.

2. Another option consists of running a calculation where the inlet velocity is imposed via a CSV and zero fn-vs is imposed at the exit. This will provide a solution which also includes the pressure field and consequently the pressure drop. Subsequently the same calculation can be rerun where the force at the exit receives a value that compensates the pressure drop.
