Why are mode-Sup transient results are wrong with Coriolis,On and a zero Omega
in ANSYS 10.0?

This is an error [Defect 41351.] It is fixed in 11.0. The problem was in the routine which calculates the product M*a. When Coriolis is on, the mass matrix is stored as unsymmetric and this was not accounted for correctly. Also there was no initialization of the matrix of rotations which produced the strange results. |
