On Windows XP, after installing service pack 2 for windows the AUOTYN Help will not open.

Service Pack 2 for Windows XP installs some new security components that are related to Explorer and how other programs installed on you PC may interact with explorer. This new security setting is installed and switched on to dissallow any program to call the Explorer Shell API. AUTODYN requires access to the Shell API to launch the help system. From Internnet Explorer, select "Tools->Internet Options". Select the Advanced Tab. Towards the bottom of the scrolled window in the "Security" section, make sure that the "Allow active content to run in files on My Computer" is set. Reboot of the machine will be required and you may nolt be prompted to do this. |
