What is the difference between specifying temperature using the BF or the TUNIF command?

In ANSYS Release 10.0, the BF command restrains a DOF to a specified value that cannot change during the solution. The TUNIF command is a subset of the more general BFUNIF command. It sets an initial temperature to be used in the first solution iteration. However, unlike the BF command, it does not restrain the temperature to that value. The temperature is free to change during the solution based on the specified boundary conditions and solution parameters. TUNIF is often used to initiate a transient solution at a particular temperature or to set an initial value to obtain more realistic temperature dependent material properties.
