How to superimpose an alternating pressure condition onto a steady-state thermal condition in the WB fatigue module?

In WB Release 10.0, you need to specify two Environments.

E1 = steady-state thermal + ½ pressure
E2 = steady-state thermal ` ½ pressure

The mean stress is ½(E1+E2). The alternating stress is ½(E1-E2). If you want the thermal stress to be the mean stress and the pressure stress to be the alternating stress then you want

Mean = 0.5 * (thermal + ½ pressure + thermal ` ½ pressure) = thermal
Alt = 0.5 * (thermal + ½ pressure - thermal + ½ pressure) = pressure

If a mean stress correction theory is specified, WB uses that theory to adjust the calculated alternating stress. The behavior of each mean stress correction theory is graphically shown in the graphics window.
