I would like to insert a temperature probe at different thicknesses of my part.
I created some points with my CAD but when I import the file into ANSYS, the
points are not visible and accessible. Do you know how I could place probes
at very specific and precise positions in the thickness of a part?

One of the options for the probe tool is to use a coordinate system. For each desired probe point, create a coordinate system whose origin is at the desired probe location. After creating the first one, you may be able to save time by duplicating it and adjusting one coordinate value to change the origin. Insert a probe for temperature or the desired result, set the Location Method in the Details to Coordinate System, and for Location pick the desired coordinate system. |
