Q. Customer reports that his graphical solution tracking (GST) tool is freezing up. This was reported in the past. We document a fix for it to turn off ghosting in Section 9.5 of the installation guide. However, this procedure no longer works at 10.0 or 11.0.
A. The fix at 10.0 (not documented) is to just type in the following:
sdbinst "%ANSYS100_DIR%binintelansys100.sdb"
At 11.0, ansys110.sdb file was not included in the installation.
The fix at 11.0 is to copy the attached "ansys110.sdb" file to ...Ansys Incv110ANSYSbinintel.
Then type:
sdbinst "%ANSYS110_DIR%binintelansys110.sdb"
This will be corrected for 11.0SP1.
