Even though the setup of the remote shell service and parallel setup was done in the same way on each computer, only certain computers will act as masters, and those in turn can use only certain other machines as hosts. The error is given below. One machine can act as a master for other slave nodes, but will not allow ldva6 to be a slave.
At the time, it was not urgent to solve this problem, but currently the case I need to run requires this machine.

If the rsh service is shown to be working properly, adding "pvmd3" and "rshd" as Firewall exceptions on the affected machines can help to resolve this problem. |
