I am using ANSYS Workbench 11.0 and would like to import a pressure load from a Fluent results file just as I am able to do for CFX. Can this be done?

This is possible and the approach is very similar to how you would import a pressure load from CFX. There are a couple of things you should do first, however. There are some issues with variable names since the naming conventions for CFX and Fluent are different. You can avoid this problem by opening CFX-Post and going to Edit/Options/Files. There you will see a toggle to convert variable names to CFX solver type names. You should enable this toggle. Also make sure the default units in Post are set to SI. Once this is done, you should be able to import the pressure load just as you would for a CFX results file. You just specify the FLUENT .dat file rather than a CFX results file. |
