Fluent 6.4 only offers Standard Wall functions in the GUI. How do I activate the new Scalable wall functions?

Scalable wall functions are available in Fluent 6.4 as an add-on to Standard wall functions. Standard wall functions must be activated to use Scalable wall functions. Setup your problem as usual, select Standard Wall functions for your turbulence model and then enter the following command into the commandline window (below viewer window in the new Fluent GUI) define/models/viscous/near-wall-treatment/scalable-wall-functions? The response should be: Enable scalable wall functions? [no] Type "yes" next to the ] character This should activate the new Scalable wall functions |
