By default, CFX-Pre always enforces the physics between fluid domains to be consistent. However, for some classifications of problem it is viable to define different physics in different disconnected fluid domains. In order to de-activate the enforcement of constant domain physics, select Edit > Options > CFX-Pre > Enable Beta Features and a new action becomes available in the right-click menu on the `Simulation' branch of the tree. The `Constant Domain Physics' action can then be de-selected if required.
