Why is Simulation making the modal prestressed for this model with no loads?

Some of the contact has "specified offset" requested in the advanced features. This can act as a load, so that is what Simulation is detecting. If this is changed to "adjust to touch" the modal becomes non-prestressed. I do not believe doing a prestressed modal with almost zero stresses will do any harm. |
