In TAS (Thermal Analysis System), selecting Solve > Steady State > Finite Difference, the solution runs for a short time, then produces the following error:
--------------------------------------------------------------
ERROR MESSAGE RECEIVED:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library:

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.
--------------------------------------------------------------

- The same model may solve correctly in a previous version of TAS.
- The model may have a very large geometry size difference between various parts of the model.

Try increasing the Undefined Resistances value.

In Settings > General: Change the Undefined Resistances to 1e+20, (default value is 1e+10). This parameter is essentially an upper limit for any calculated resistances. Values larger than this setting are assumed to be infinite, thus they are neglected.

Increasing this value may allow the solve to complete successfully.
