Why do stranded coil current density values not match for ANSYS 10.0 and 11.0?

This is due to a change made under defect 55272. At 10.0, the current density was computed based on the gross cross-section of the conductor, including the area contributed by the voids between the wires. At 11.0 and beyond, the current density is based only on the cross-sectional area of the wires. |
