I would like to be able to animate streamlines so that I see the individual massless particles as they move through the flow field. I know that quick animation can be used to do this, but I'd like more control over the time interval between particle updates and the rate at which the animation will play. Is an example available?

The easiest way to do this involves the use of keyframe animation and the display of symbols (not lines) for the streamline. You can control the interval between particles by setting it on the symbol properties. A powerpoint workshop is attached which illustrates the basic approach using the results file for the static mixer tutorial as a starting point.
