What kind of damping is available in a Rigid Body Solution in Workbench Simulation? I am particularly interested in material damping.

In a true Rigid Dynamics analysis, the only type of damping is discrete viscous damping specified for a spring. If you are doing a Flexible Dynamic analysis with rigid bodies, then material damping would be available for the flexible portion of the model. |
