In ANSYS Release 11.0, can velocity be obtained from a harmonic analysis?

Velocity cannot be obtained directly from a harmonic analysis; however, the velocity is simply the displacement multiplied by the circular frequency (omega=2*pi*frequency). Thus, APDL (*GET, *VGET, *VFACT, etc.) can be used to extract the frequency and nodal displacements, then to calculate and list the nodal velocities. |
