SYMPTOM: Cases using the Algebraic Slip Model with heat transfer may give incorrect results. PROBLEM: Some inconsistencies in the implementation of the mass fraction and energy equations for the Algebraic Slip Model mean that the calculated temperatures may not be correct. WORKAROUND: No workaround is currently available. FIXED IN: ANSYS CFX Release 12.1. A custom executable for ANSYS CFX Release 12.0 is available on request. |
