KNOWN ISSUE: CFX-Mesh surface mesh is coarser than settings in the Default Face Spacing

SYMPTOM: In some circumstances the surface mesh created in CFX-Mesh may be significantly coarser than the constant spacing specified in the Default Face Spacing. PROBLEM: The mesher is not applying the Default Face Spacing correctly. WORKAROUND: 1. Create a new Face Spacing and apply the required constant spacing to all the desired faces. OR 2. Use one of the other meshing methods available in the Meshing application, instead of CFX-Mesh. FIXED IN: No fix is currently available. |
