KNOWN ISSUE: Use of hybrid variables in custom wall functions (Class 3 Error)

SYMPTOM: If a custom wall function is created using an expression that includes variable values, then the conservative value of those variables are used. If the user tries to use the hybrid values of variables using the Boundcon operator, e.g. 'Temperature.Boundcon', the code silently continues to use the conservative values. This may not be apparent to the user. PROBLEM: This is due to an error in the Fortran of the CFX-Solver. WORKAROUND: No workaround is currently available. FIXED IN: ANSYS CFX Release 12.1. A custom executable for ANSYS CFX Release 12.0 is available on request. |
