KNOWN ISSUE: Some reported Average Scales at the end of a run are incorrect (Class 3 Error)

SYMPTOM: Some quantities reported in the Average Scale section of the CFX-Solver out file at the end of a run are incorrect. In particular, those of Specific Heat Capacity at Constant Volume and Extinction Coefficient are never updated after the initial calculation at the start of the run. In addition, other integrated quantities which may be used during the CFX-Solver calculation are also not updated, although the effect of this is likely to be negligible. PROBLEM: Some entries in a CFX-Solver array, which stores required integrated quantities for the calculation, were never updated after being initialised at the start of a calculation. WORKAROUND: No workaround is currently available. FIXED IN: ANSYS CFX Release 12.1. A custom executable for ANSYS CFX Release 12.0 is available on request. |
