KNOWN ISSUE: massFlowAveAbs callback gets incorrect answer on linux-amd64 (Class 3 Error)

SYMPTOM: If the massFlowAveAbs callback function is used, such as massFlowAveAbs(Variable)@Locator, in the single precision linux-amd64 version of the CFX-Solver, then incorrect answers are obtained. These incorrect answers will not always be obvious to the user. PROBLEM: This is due to a bug in the compiler that is used for this platform. WORKAROUND: Use the double precision version of the software. FIXED IN: ANSYS CFX Release 12.1. A custom executable for ANSYS CFX Release 12.0 is available on request. |
