KNOWN ISSUE: Curvature correction implementation incorrect for two-equation turbulence models (Class 3 Error)

SYMPTOM: The implementation of the curvature correction coefficient for two-equation turbulence models is incorrect, with a curvature effect being predicted for flows that have no curvature if the coefficient (Cscale) does not have its default value of 1.0. PROBLEM: This is due to an error in the formulated equations for the curvature correction. WORKAROUND: No workaround is currently available. FIXED IN: ANSYS CFX Release 12.1. A custom executable for ANSYS CFX Release 12.0 is available on request. |
