Gradient options are used to compute the gradient of a scalar at the cell center. The Green-Gauss node-based scheme is more accurate than the Green-Gauss cell-based scheme for unstructured meshes, especially for triangular and tetrahedral meshes. The Green-Gauss node-based gradient method is not available with polyhedral meshes. The least squares cell-based gradient is recommended for polyhedral meshes. |
