KR338: How to define NSs in complex geometries having many interior faces?


The classic way is to use in DM or AMP the planes from the bottom left corner of the graphics window and accept/reject the boundary faces one by one (See attached image file for more details).

This may be tedious and annoying in the current version especially if you have many faces overlapping in space. If you are in AMP, you can also use a Section Planes to cut the domain before or after the mesh, and then select the faces as shown in the image.
