Hexcore is a hybrid meshing scheme that generates tet cells adjacent to boundaries and a Cartesian mesh in the core flow regions. Hexcore mesh combines automation and flexibility of tet/hybrid meshes with greatly reduced cell counts and increased accuracy, particularly in swirling flows. (see the image attached) |
