What happens if an opening is placed on the surface of or inside a solid object such as block or plate?

When an opening is placed on the surface or inside of the solid block or plate, opening will cut through the block/plate and will create fluid region instead of solid region for block/plate. Solver will treat the opening as an interior surface. |
