How can I easily define the matrix transformation needed for periodic boundary conditions in POLYFLOW? How can I easily use the source- and target-points?


Whatever the shape of the sides that are considered for the periodic boundary condition, it is always possible to select three points defining a "source-plane" and to calculate their coordinates in the "target-plane". These points do not necessarily need to belong to the boundary faces presently considered, but it is important that they define the transformation without ambiguity. The coordinates must be provided with enough digits for making sure that the program can calculate an orthogonal transformation matrix.
