When I try to mesh my model I keep getting an error about thin conducting plates and non-conformal assemblies. What is wrong?

Since thin conducting plates are being solved in 3D but meshed in 2D, non-conformal elements cannot be calculated properly when the thin conducting plate is intersected by the assembly.

Therefore, you cannot intersect a thin conducting plate with a non-conformal assembly.

Look to see if a contact resistance plate can be used instead. If not (spreading resistance is necessary), you either cannot use an assembly in that area of your model, or the plate must be modeled as a conducting thick plate.
