KNOWN ISSUE: Force calculations on interfaces and cut planes (Class 3 Error)

SYMPTOM: Forces at interfaces or cut planes are approximated by combining pressure and mass flow force contributions. However, this approximation will not balance the force on walls. PROBLEM: The contribution from the mass flow force is calculated incorrectly. WORKAROUND: No workaround is currently available. FIXED IN: ANSYS CFD-Post Release 14.0. |
