KNOWN ISSUE: Radiation is not rotationally periodic (Class 3 Error)

SYMPTOM: When running cases with either the Monte Carlo or Discrete Transfer radiation model that have rotational periodicity, the CFX-Solver treats the periodic boundaries as symmetry planes for radiation. PROBLEM: This is a limitation of the capabilities of the radiation solver. WORKAROUND: No workaround is currrently available. FIXED IN: ANSYS CFX Release 14.0 (by including this limitation in the user documentation). |
