How can I retrieve the FLEXlm host ID for the ANSYS License Manager license file?

On <a target=_blank href="http://www.ansys.com">http://www.ansys.com</a>http://www.ansys.com there is a link to download the AnsRegSvr utility (Windows) and getFLEXid utility (UNIX/LINUX). These utilities will pull your computer's FLEXlm host ID & computer name. It is important to use these utilities rather than other tools such as ipconfig. AnsRegSvr and getFLEXid will retrieve a host ID that is compatible with the ANSYS R14 License Manager. Ipconfig may retrieve other IDs that are not compatible, such as a virtual network adaptor ID.
