When the Mesher within Workbench fails to generate a mesh in release 13.0, why aren't named selections created with the problematic geometries, similar to what happens in release 12.1?

When the Mesher fails to create a mesh, it doesn't automatically create named selections with the problematic faces. You will need to check the messages for errors and then right mouse click --> Show problematic geometry. This will highlight the problematic faces. There is a known bug in release 13.0 that sometimes, the faces are not captured/highlighted. This is fixed at release 14.0 (not released). |
