SYMPTOM: The Run Mode drop-down is blank for a two-way FSI restart in ANSYS Workbench. PROBLEM: When editing the Solution cell, the Solver Manager Define Run panel does not initialize properly, most notably when performing a continuation on a two-way FSI solution. The symptom of this problem is that the Run Mode selector is entirely blank. In this situation, a run cannot be properly defined. WORKAROUND: The workaround is to close the CFX-Solver Manager and then to select "Solution > Clear Execution Control" on the project schematic. If you had any custom run settings, you will have to recreate them before starting the run. FIXED IN: No fix is currently available. |
