How to map 2D results on a 3D mesh using Workbench External Data

Add an External Data system in the Workbench Project Schematic. Specify the data "Dimension" to be "2D". Also, note that if your 3D model has x or z axis as the axis of rotation, you will need to perform a transformation (e.g., for z-axis, use "Theta YZ = 1.5708 radians").

In Workbench Mechanical, define the type of load to import under "Imported Load". For the newly added load (e.g., Imported Body Temperature), a "2D Projection" option should be available in the Details view. Define a cylindrical coordinate system and reference this coordinate system for "2D Projection" to define the mapping.
