When writing out a hardcopy of FLUENT graphics FLUENT hangs

Problem Description: When running FLUENT in serial and when trying to write out a hardcopy of FLUENT graphics FLUENT hangs. This only occurs if the cell count is 1.5 million or more. Resolution 1: Launch FLUENT using the -serv flag, for example, fluent 3d -serv and then write out the hardcopy Resolution 2: Launch FLUENT in parallel. This will require that you have at least two licenses. At the command line type: fluent 3d -t2 This will be fixed in the next release of FLUENT. |
